pseudocasuali in Crittologia").
From 1986 to 1989 he was Ph.D. student (Information and
Electronics Engineering) at
the "Dipartimento di
Elettrotecnica, Elettronica e Informatica", Trieste University
(associated with Padova, Firenze and Pisa University). In 1989
he completed the
research program, under the supervision of
Prof. G. Longo and Prof. A. Sgarro, with the
dissertation
entitled "Crittologia e Teoria dell'Informazione: tecniche di
cifratura a
flusso e codifica di sorgente a lunghezza
variabile".
Recipient of the "Premio Fondazione Bruno Maestro"
(L. 2.000.000) for the best
graduated at the Engineering Faculty
of the Trieste University (1989).
From 1991 to 1998, Assistant Professor in Information Theory,
and from 1998 to 2001,
Associate Professor in Cybernetics and
Informatics at the "Dipartimento di Matematica e
Informatica",
University of Udine, Faculty of Sciences.
Since November 2001, Associate Professor in Informatics at
